KAJIAN TEOLOGIS PERAN IBU TUNGGAL DALAM PERKEMBANGAN ROHANI ANAK DI JEMAAT KGPM BETHLEHEM HUMBIA TAGULANDANG

This research aim to examine the theological role of single mother in
the spiritual development of children, as well as to assess the challanges
they face.
This research uses a decriptive qualitative aprproach. Date were
collected through documentation, observation, and interview.
The result of the study show that single mother in the KGPM
Betlehem Humbia Tagulandan congregation actively fulfill roles in educating
children in spiritual formation through exemplary living, nurturing spiritual
discipline, and fostering relationships that emphasize love and forgiveness.
They become the main pillars in the formation of the childre’s faith, despite
facing finansial limitations, lack of life partnes, social stigma, and minimal
support from the chruch. From a theological perpective, the role of single
mother reflects the exemplars of biblical figures such as Hagar, Unice, and
Lois, wich prove that faith can be passed down through perseverance and
love.
